Energy Management System divides energy cost through installing metering devices for each consumer. This system could be employed to calculate electricity, water, and gas cost. It encourages inhabitants to reduce their consumption. M-bus is the common protocol for metering devices. Metering system includes following variables:
1- Heating and cooling energy: A flow meter and two temperature sensor on supply and return pipe
are installed in order to measure the energy. Calculator calculates the heating and cooling energy based on this information.
2- Domestic water: Hot or cold domestic water could be measured by a water flow meter.
3- Electrical power: Electrical meters measure the active power of each unit. It also can measure other electrical variables such as reactive power, power factor, and currents.
