Closed-circuit television (CCTV), also known as video surveillance, is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limited set of monitors. CCTV is used for security and supervisory applications in crowded or critical areas. Also, a lot of managers supervise their personnel through CCTV. Another usage of CCTV is traffic control in cities.
